Celebrating Recovery!
At Happy Hour Group in Vegas I enjoyed handing out chips. I take that back, not so much when it's summer in Vegas and it's pre-heat the oven temperature people are sweaty. I digress.
I have been to meetings across the States and the Philippines. The folks in the Low Country have a different chip system, similar to the faith based program I have gone to.
The method on handing out chips is a bit different and like how it ends. A bunch of folks say after asking/handing out chips say "Clap for the chips ypu hold." I like that, reminds me to celebrate the Milestone achieved one day at a time, working it in community.
When i get back to Vegas and if called to serve as chip dude, that's how I will end that part of the meeting.
