Scene: Santa’s Workshop. Elves are wrapping gifts. Reindeer are unionizing.
Santa invites Nirav to sit by the fire.
Santa:
“Ho ho ho! Nirav, welcome to the North Pole. What can I get you for Christmas this year?”
Nirav:
“Santa… all I want for Christmas is simple. For Niel to stop tagging me on X, LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, the Flammlandia Casino scoreboard—everywhere.”
Santa:
“Oh dear. The elves told me Niel is on the ‘Intensely Persistent’ list this year.”
Nirav:
“He is! He keeps reposting everything. Even when I turn off comments on LinkedIn, he finds… new places to engage. It’s exhausting.”
Santa:
“Well, son, have you tried talking to him? Communication is on many wish lists this year.”
Nirav:
“Santa. Please. That’s not how we do things. My Christmas wish is to keep everything the same. No feedback on posts, same moderators forever, and a peaceful silence across the land.”
Santa:
“Ah, the classic ‘holiday mute button’ request. Very popular among CEOs.”
Nirav:
“And while we’re at it, could you make Niel… go away? Or at least make his Wi-Fi spotty?”
Santa (laughing):
“Oh ho ho ho! Nirav, even I can’t stop Niel’s Wi-Fi. The man posts from cruise ships in the middle of the ocean.”
Nirav:
“Then at least hide my X profile. He keeps tagging me! I wake up in sweats.”
Santa:
“Well, remember, Christmas isn’t just about keeping things quiet. It’s about showing up for your community, giving back, and actually listening. Have you tried that part?”
Nirav:
“…Listening? To Niel?? Santa, please, be serious.”
Santa:
“Ho ho ho… maybe that’s your lesson this season. Because the more you hide… the more he’ll post.”
Elf Whispering to Santa:
“Um, Santa? Niel just posted from your Wi-Fi network.”
Santa:
“…Ho-ho-no.”
