You Won’t Believe What I Did on This Cruise 🎥🚢

Let’s just say… I didn’t exactly behave like a typical cruise guest on Freedom of the Seas.

Some moments were funny, some unexpected, and some just real life playing out in ways you can’t plan.

To find out what I actually did, head to NielFlamm.com – Videos – Travel and watch the video—plus everything else from this trip and the reality of my life.

Back from the High Seas… Back to Reality

On March 26th, I kicked off a much-needed break — four days on the high seas, plenty of bacon, and a solid dose of Vitamin D.

Contrary to belief, I don’t let Nextdoor consume all my time.

But now I’m back — writing this from DCA — and like many investors, I checked my position on Nextdoor Holdings Inc. (NXDR).

No surprise.
Down again.

Then I looked at the latest PR coming out of Nextdoor.

More repurposed, heartstring-pulling content. Still repurposed. Still not addressing the core issue.

What I — and I suspect many others — am waiting for is something very different:

An open letter from Nirav Tolia, the C-Suite, and the Board that outlines:

Not what’s being planned
Not what’s being discussed
But what actions were taken yesterday to drive real value

Because right now, the gap between messaging and performance is widening.

I’d also genuinely like to hear:

How is Nextdoor different from other social networks?

Because despite the positioning, it is a social network — and like others, it appears to tap into the same behavioral loops that keep users coming back. With increasing scrutiny across the industry, regulation isn’t a question of if — it’s when.

So I’ll say it directly:

Nirav, instead of the PR circuit talking about how the thesis is working — the market suggests otherwise — where is the value-driven turnaround?

Investors are watching.
And they want answers.

Full Circle at the Airport ✈️

Back at Miami International Airport—same place, different mindset.

Just recorded a quick video reflecting on the last 4 days. What worked, what didn’t, and what it really took to make this trip happen.

Kindness Shows Up When It Matters ✈️

Back at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, one thing stands out more than anything from this trip—the kindness of people.

Small moments, unexpected help, and genuine gestures made a bigger impact than anything planned.

I’m doing this video right here at DCA, reflecting on it all. Watch it on NielFlamm.com – Videos – Travel and follow along for more.

The Right Spot Matters 🚢

Found my go-to spot on the main deck of Freedom of the Seas—not just for the view, but for ease, balance, and comfort as an amputee.

Where you sit changes everything.
